Sativa strains are known for their energizing and uplifting effects. People often use this cannabis subspecies for creative pursuits and social activities. Sativas often take longer to reach maturity than Indica or Hybrid strains, making them sometimes less common or less available due to the increased time it takes for growers to produce them.

A hybrid strain is a combination of both Indica and Sativa strains. This allows for a wide range of effects and flavors, making hybrids a popular choice for many cannabis users.
