Cannabis Infused Salad Dressings

By: CannaRanda

When reviewing available edibles in the Oregon market, I have noticed a lack in options for sugar-free, vegan, or for any of the dietary restricted for that matter. There is also a small market for consumers with a higher tolerance that don’t want to eat fist fulls of sugary gummies to catch a buzz or find some relief. Buying edibles regularly can get spendy but the idea of making edibles seems daunting right? It doesn’t have to be! One of my favorite edible options is a salad dressing! You can save a lot of money and have more control over your edible experience by making your own. By using a premade RSO Infused Avocado or Olive Oil, it is SUPER easy and you can make a completely different flavor by just changing a few things. These are great for giving gifts and you can store them in the fridge or freeze them for longer keeping.

Simple and savory

¼ c. infused avocado or olive oil

½ c. lemon juice

Minced garlic (2 or 3 cloves)

Pinch of salt and or pepper to taste. (I hit it hard with the pepper for a lemon pepper kick)

Sweet and Simpler

⅓ c. infused avocado or olive oil

1 ⅕ c. mashed raspberries, blueberries, or really any sweet berry you’ve got in season

2 tbsp.lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Simplest, but Sauciest (Don’t let her fool you)

⅓ c. infused avocado or olive oil

¼ c. apple cider vinegar

Honey to taste (you can infuse this too for a heavy hitter)

A couple teaspoons of Dijon mustard

Each of these can be thrown in a little mason jar or recycled salad dressing container and just shake until mixed. Store them or throw a ribbon and a cute note as a gift. All of these recipes can easily be adjusted to your taste by adding more or less of any of the ingredients. By following the linked recipes for infused oils you can get your dosing with a little math and include that on your tag to manage your (or your friends) experience.

These dressings can be used as toppings for meats and salads or added into various meals for added flavor and a heck of a body buzz. Get creative and try to create your own signature dressing and above all have fun and share the love!

*Be mindful if cooking with these dressings as cannabinoids can burn off or convert into CBN which is a sleep aid.
